Sondra G. Wacker,

Vice President of IRB Operations for
Patient Advocacy Council, Inc.
Ms. Wacker
serves as Vice President of Quality, Ethics
and Compliance for Compass Point Research.
She has held numerous positions within the
company ranging from regulatory affairs
management, employee training supervisor,
director of project management and
compliance officer. She provides a very
unique and detailed perspective to clinical
operations for research.
Prior to her
current role, she was the Vice President of Operations for
Compass Point Research’s subsidiary company, Patient
Advocacy Council (PAC). At PAC, Ms. Wacker oversaw the
administrative operations of the central IRB board, which
reviews protocols from around the country. She attended the
University of South Alabama earned her IRB Manager
certification from the National Association of IRB Managers.
In addition to managing the IRB, she worked in a consulting
capacity with numerous hospitals to audit IRB operations and
develop standard operating procedures that meet regulatory
requirements. Her expertise was vital to the development of
the electronic IRB system now used by PAC and other
hospitals.
